"Pretty flexible with our dates"
I liked that they gave us a few different options for dates and places, so it didn’t feel like we were boxed into one package. I had to ask a couple questions before booking, but they got back to me and answered everything clearly enough. My gut feeling was that it wasn’t totally perfect, but it seemed reliable, and in the end it worked out well for our trip.

"They fixed it eventually, but it really dragged on"
I had a problem with my booking, it ended up being a lot more stressful than I expected. At first I thought it would just be a quick message or phone call and someone would sort it out, but it turned into one of those situations where you’re checking your email constantly and wondering if anyone is actually looking into it.
To be fair, they did fix the issue in the end, so I don’t want to make it sound like nothing was done. But it took way too many calls, follow-up emails, and repeated explanations. Every time someone replied, it kind of felt like I was starting the whole conversation from the beginning again, which got frustrating after a while.
I’m relieved it was resolved, because the booking issue was definitely not something I wanted hanging over me. Still, the whole process left a bad taste in my mouth. I’d be hesitant to use them again unless their customer support gets faster and more organized.

"Frustrating site to navigate"
I really wanted to like using the site, but it got frustrating fast. At first I was just a little confused, then the slow-loading pages started to annoy me. I kept hoping the prices would be easy to spot, but I had to click around way too much just to find basic info. It kind of wore me out.

I was in a good mood when I booked because the process was simple and the place looked really nice. The stay itself ended up being enjoyable, and we had a good time overall. The only downside was that some extra fees popped up later, which was a little frustrating and took away from the experience a bit...

The discount did go through when I booked, so I can’t complain about that part. Compared to other deals I’ve used before, though, the final price wasn’t quite as low as I expected once the fees were added in. It was okay, just not as much of a bargain as I hoped.

I tried to cancel my membership it was more annoying than I expected. I had to send a couple of messages before it finally got handled, and it felt like the process had these little policy loopholes that made it easier for them to drag things out than just cancel it right away. Support was polite, so I’ll give them that, but the whole thing was slow. Not the worst experience ever, but the cancellation process really needs to be clearer and more straightforward

"The deals disappeared when I tried to book"
I got excited when I saw the deals and figured I’d found a good one, but when I actually went to book, there was nothing available. I tried checking a few options, thinking maybe it was just that one date or listing, but it kept turning out the same way. "Decent stay, but nothing special"
The resort was okay overall, just not really anything to get excited about. Our room was clean, which I appreciated, but the pool area felt dated and could definitely use some work. I also didn’t really feel like customer service would be much help if something went wrong, so I didn’t bother asking for much. Not a terrible stay, but I probably wouldn’t rush back.

I had to cancel my trip and request a refund. I expected it to be processed right away, so waiting a few days felt a little frustrating at first. "Pretty good trip, just a couple tiny mix-ups"
Overall, we had a good experience with Heroes Vacation Club. The booking process was straightforward, and the hotel was about what we expected based on the photos and description. I did get a little hung up on one of the confirmation emails because the wording didn’t quite match what I thought I had booked, so I ended up rereading it a few times and checking the dates and room info like three times. Customer service helped clear it up, though, and everything ended up being fine. The trip itself went smoothly, the price was solid, and we were happy with how it all turned out. I’d use them again, but next time I’d definitely double-check every little detail in the emails right away.

"Not enough places to choose from"
I was expecting a better mix of destinations, but the options felt limited. It seemed like they were mostly pushing the same handful of beach spots, while cities and smaller places were barely there.
If you’re only looking for the usual popular vacation areas, it might be fine. But for me, it felt like they didn’t really give much thought to people wanting something different, so I left disappointed

I booked a trip through heroesvacationclub.com, it was okay overall. The site loaded without any issues, and I was relieved that I could find the dates I wanted easily. But a few parts of the process felt a bit confusing, especially during checkout, which was kind of frustrating. I booked a room through Heroes Vacation Club, and at first I felt good about it because the price seemed decent. But then that good feeling dropped fast when the confirmation didn’t come through like I expected.
I still remember sitting there with my flights already planned, staring at an email that basically said the booking was being processed but wasn’t fully confirmed yet. That uneasy feeling stuck with me, because I ended up having to wait and then reach out to support just to make sure the room was actually reserved.
Everything did work out in the end, so I’m glad for that, but the whole process left me more anxious than it should have. I probably wouldn’t use them again unless they make the confirmation process much clearer and faster.

I found the pricing confusing from the start. It wasn’t clear what I’d actually be paying, and then extra fees seemed to show up later. I kept asking for a straight answer on the real cost, but there was basically no follow-up unless I pushed for it. "Military discount was a bit disappointing"
I was expecting the military discount to be a little better. It’s nice that they offer something for responders, but it felt underwhelming and not quite what I had hoped for.
